Les Abeilles, le vieux camion, les Grillons, les Antonins and many others are among the many plots which form the Obrieu vineyards. Grouped around the domain, on terraces (300 - 350m of altitude) with a south - southwest exposure, the vines take full advantage of the sunshine, the Mediterranean climate and at the same time are sheltered from the Mistral.
Pebbles, red clay, white clay, old Grenache "gobelets" or Syrah trellised - over generations, the family experience and observation have allowed each variety to develop in harmony with the "terroir".
"Being Vigneron is more than a job for me it is a passion and every step of my work is a step closer to a new vintage that I hope each time exceptional."
The care brought to the vines, from pruning until the harvest, are done in accordance with tradition and a respect for the environment.
Our grapes are picked by hand exclusively, carefully sorted in the vineyard with shortest possible transport to the cellar. This helps preserve the integrity of the grapes and bring a higher quality to the wine.
This all is the key to a healthy harvest, revealing that the terroir is what characterizes our wines.
